Encryption and Encryption Android

Question :

I’m trying to learn how to use encryption to encrypt and decrypt messages.

I have a class called Encripta that has the methods, the encryption works perfectly.

My method to decipher encryption decrypt , returns the following log:


“V / Decrypt: android.support.v7.widget.AppCompatEditText {41766b38

I’m going to post my class Main and class Encripta .

If you can tell me what I’m missing, I’m waiting (I took the code here from the same stack, and this is based on the project).

I believe you have no errors in Encrypt methods, but it does exist when you take the value from the screen:

String codigo =  encripta.encrypt(txtMensagem.toString());

You are actually passing the object reference, not its contents:

The right thing would be:

 String codigo =  encripta.encrypt(txtMensagem.getText().toString());
